Barcode Generator
Generate a barcode for stock labels, packaging, tickets or shipping — Code 128 here, or pick another symbology from the row above.
Letters and numbers, any length — the warehouse default
Letters, digits and punctuation. The encoder picks the densest subset for you.
Choose the symbology. Code 128 suits anything internal; retail needs EAN or UPC.
Type the value. It's checked as you go, so you can't export something that won't scan.
Set the bar height, width and quiet zone to suit where it will be printed.
Download SVG for print or PNG for screens.
Code 128 for anything you control yourself — stock, assets, internal logistics — because it takes letters and numbers at any length. EAN-13 or UPC-A if the item is scanned at a retail till. PDF417 or Aztec when you need to carry a lot of data, like a ticket or a licence.
Yes — no account, no watermark, no expiry. The generator runs entirely in your browser, so it costs us nothing to run.
Yes. Print them on packaging, labels, tickets or documents. There's no licence and no attribution required. The one thing we can't give you is a retail number itself — see the EAN and UPC pages for why.
Download the SVG and scale that, rather than enlarging a PNG. Keep the quiet zone — the blank margin either side — at least ten times the width of the narrowest bar, because that's what scanners use to find the code at all.
